About the Park

The Manitowoc Skatepark was designed with all skill levels in mind. The park allows bikers, skateboarders, inline skaters, and scooters to further enhance their skills in a safe and supportive environment. Located in the Dewey Street park it is accesible via the bus route, car, or self-powered means. Features:

  • Manual Pad w/ Rail & Grind Ledge

  • Kinked Rail
  • 5' - 4' Bank w/ 5' Quarter Pipe & Sub Box
  • 2.5' Fun Box w/ Eurogap, Rail, Planter & 2' Pyramid
  • 6' - 5' Quarter Pipe w/ Escalator, Hip & Bowl Corner

The park was designed with two different surfaces: "SkateLite" and Concrete. All the ramps that were completed in Phase I are surfaced with SkateLite. This is a strong and durable material that was designed with skateparks in mind. You can read up on SkateLite on this page. Phase II will include a concrete bowl as well as concrete banks, ledges, etc. that will lead into the street portion of the park.
